After several visits to this picturesque country, I decided to move to the town of Kableshkovo near to Bourgas.The locals are the friendliest people I have ever met. The cost of living is very cheap from car insurance to eating out.
I have good contacts with local builders, lawyers, accountants and most importantly a government registered translator.
The investment opportunity in Bulgaria is extremely good, with property prices rising by 25% in 2005 and in the Black Sea and skiing areas it has been as high as 50%. Investors in Bulgaria will benefit further once it joins the EU in 2007.

Hello! we are Vicki (the short one) and Nicky (the tall one).
Old workmates from the grim past in Northern Ireland, we set out for completely unknown Bulgaria two and a half years ago, and liked it so much that we both bought houses. These are in a mountain village, right in the centre, near spectacular Veliko Turnovo.
When the husbands recovered from the news, they came too, and took to a country where you shake your head for yes, and nod for no. It's quite difficult to order coffee, but easy to buy a house. One book and two renovations later, we are still discovering more about this fascinating land.

Hi, I'm Derek, I am a Yorkshireman!
I came to Slovenia on business in 1991; I loved the Country and its people and decided to stay. I'm married to a local lady and have two children. We live in the beautiful Gorisko area close to the Austrian/Hungarian border in the North East of the Country.
In Slovenia we have Alpine slopes and superb country areas and forestation.You can Golf, Ski, shoot or just walk and enjoy the most tranquil scenery. It is the cleanest and safest Country I have ever been to!
You can fly here with Ryan Air to Graz in Austria and cross over the border(short distance)or fly EasiJet into our lovely Capital Lubjliana in the South.
I am involved in restoration and improvements, to rural properties in the area and have many contacts in the Industry. Yes! I have a long name because we take one last name from our father and a second last name from our mother (who does not lose her maiden name at marriage). I, also, have a double-barrel name from my grandfather!
Originally, I am from Switzerland, but have travelled and lived in many parts of the world. I eventually settled in Spain and lived in Madrid for some time, but moved to Estepona (Costa del Sol) in 1997, to work in a Nature Park as a Zoologist. I decided to change careers and moved into Telecommunication .
The Costa del Sol is a unique area within Spain and southern Europe, with brilliant weather all year round and a growing population of Europeans looking for comfort, with an array of services provided for them to feel at home.

Hello, I'm Rachel Webb, I work with my husband Nick, who stays away from cameras and computers!
We are both English and have lived in Jaen for 11 years with our 3 boys, who are more fluent in Spanish than us!
Nick does building renovation work, he's a qualified Spanish electrician and plumber and also works as project manager overseeing renovation works.
We have bought and renovated a house for holiday lets and B&B, in which you may stay! whilst looking at property in the area.
I do some English teaching and writing but what I really like is looking at houses and visualising the changes and renovations.
